
Scouting uses recreational activities to help young people develop leadership and teamwork skills, build confidence and self-esteem, and learn how to take responsibility for themselves. There are 35 million Scouts in 216 countries around the world. Over half a billion people have made the Scout Promise since the Movement was founded in 1907.
Cubs participate in a variety of activities designed to satisfy their curiosity and need for adventure. Activities include camping, acting, games, music, handicrafts, stories, and earning badges. The Cub Motto is "Do Your Best". Some things the Cubs have done:

The fun and learning continues in 2009/10.
Cubs have weekly evening meetings plus occasional weekend events. The Cub Pack is lead by parents and other volunteers from the community. All volunteers complete a screening process.
Mondays, 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Edna Staebler Public School, 450 Bernay Drive, Waterloo (near the intersection of Erb Street and Erbsville Road)
